The Littleton PTA is a non-profit organizationmade up of parent volunteers.  The PTA is an organization whose memberscare about children and their opportunities for growth into happy andresponsible citizens.
As part of our goal to enhance the education of our children, the PTAdoes many fundraisers and provides many activities that our children maynot have otherwise had.
The following is a list of just a few programs we will be providing thisyear.  The PTA volunteers work year round to ensure we can providethese activities to our children.

Fundraising:  Our year kicked off with a fall fundraiser of wrapping paper
and Kidstuff books.  We also run the Box Tops for Education Program. Send in your Box Tops and your child's class could win a prize.
Please also send in Labels for Education. Printable sheets:

Activities:   We often hearthe question, “What exactly does the PTA fund?”  Well, here are a few ofthe programs and activities that the PTA funds and helps to coordinateand execute.

Cultural Arts:  The goal ofthe PTA Cultural Arts program is to enhance the children’s learningexperience by bringing in author’s who ignite the spark of creativity. This year the PTA is proud to sponsor programs that include dance, science, and literature.

Staff Activities:   Our faculty and staff certainly deserve our support and appreciation.  Each year, the PTA recognizes our staff with our Welcome Back Breakfast on the day before school and a special luncheon in May for Staff Appreciation Day.  Our parents work hard to ensure that these events are special for each of our teachers and staff.

Additional Student Activities:  Each year, the PTA sponsors and provides activities and courtesies to our students and their families.  In December, the PTA runs a Holiday Shop to allow children the opportunity to purchase gifts for their family members.  The PTA also supports Field Dayin June.  Typically, the PTA helps with volunteers for the day andprovides water to all the children participating in the field day.

Book Fairs:  Each year, thePTA coordinates and runs a Book fair two times a year.  In the past thePTA has been able to provide FREE books to the library and classrooms.

Scholarships:  The PTAprovides scholarships to High School seniors who apply.  We provide a$350 scholarship to 2 seniors attending college.  We are proud toprovide these children with a small start on their higher educationfunding.

Community Relations:  The Littleton PTA provides and participates in a variety of community programs.  One event is our annual Holiday Angelswhich is held in December.  Volunteers from our organization were ableto provide a very happy holiday to many families in our community whoare less fortunate than us.  Our team organized the collection of giftsfor needy children and adults to be distributed for the holiday.
PTA also supports the Interfaith Pantry with thecollection of food items in November and  May.  We are happy to supportthem through our Food Drive.

Volunteers:  The PTA has manyvolunteers that are willing to help in all aspects in our school.   Wehave volunteers that help with kindergarten orientation and registrationand many other activities and events.

As a strictly volunteer organization, the PTAworks to ensure that the money that we raise and ultimately spend on allof our children is done with the utmost fiscal responsibility. Membership to our organization is open to anyone who wishes to become amember.
